The Kinh Bac region is rich in culture and history, the birthplace of Quan ho Bac Ninh folk songs—an Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity recognized by UNESCO. Spanning approximately 287 hectares, Kinh Bac Art City dedicates around 43 hectares for art spaces and the night-time economy.
The design is transformed from images of Northern Vietnamese villages: village gates, water wharves, banyan trees, and communal courtyards—venues for folk activities like water puppetry, Quan ho culture houses, and traditional craft stalls.
An artificial river connected by bridges named after Quan ho melodies leads to an experiential route weaving through service and night-economy zones, vividly recreating traditional Kinh Bac culture within a contemporary urban structure.
